As a child, do you remember bringing rocks home from the beach and rubbing them in your hands to enhance their colors? Designed to intensify the characteristics of stone, Tile Guard^®’s Enhance & Seal beautifies unpolished, flamed, honed and rough-textured surfaces, especially slate.

You can be really efficient with our Enhance & Seal, as it does two jobs at once. While enriching the natural colors of stone, it also provides stain protection. Bonding to both interior and exterior stone, its permeable matte-finish provides maximum protection and excellent water repellency.

Smooth Unpolished Surfaces:

1. Test a small area before using to determine if this product is appropriate.
2. Remove all coatings such as sealers prior to use.
3. Be sure that the surface is free from loose debris and thoroughly cleaned.
4. Apply to surfaces that are between 50°F and 80°F.
5. Avoid direct sunlight when applying.
6. Using only a Rayon mop or terry cloth towel, apply Tile Guard^® Enhance and Seal to no more than 50 square feet at a time.
7. Smooth the uneven and puddle areas with mop or terry cloth towel; confirm there are no remaining pools left on surface.
8. Let the surface completely dry for 30 minutes and add a second coat if additional protection is desired.
9. Proper curing time is approximately 24 hours.
10. Dispose of product following local EPA regulations.

Rough Surfaces:

1. Follow all of the above procedures, but substitute applicators with a pump sprayer to ensure that all the stone’s fissures are coated.

Coverage

• Depending on surface porosity, 300 sq ft for slate; 700 sq ft for honed marble.

Maintenance Suggested

• Clean surface regularly with the Tile Guard^® cleaning formula for your surface.

Limitations

• Not for use on food handling surfaces.

First Aid

• Eye Contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15 minute, get medical attention if irritation persists.
• Skin Contact: Wash affected area thoroughly with water.
