This extra strength formula removes coatings, finishes and varnishes on various types of stone and tiles. This low order formula is safer and easier to use. Not for use on synthetic stone and tiles. Some types of penetrating sealers cannot be removed with this product.

Coverage: 20–50 sq. ft.

Read entire label before using. Use only as directed. Clean all areas before use to ensure area is free from debris. Avoid skin and eye contact; wear protective eyeglasses and rubber gloves when handling this product. Keep area well ventilated until the surface is dry. Avoid contact with all surfaces not intended to be treated.

  1. Shake well before using.
  2. Liberally apply an even coat in required area with a brush, mop, or paint pad. Do not apply with a sprayer.
  3. Do not get on unapproved surfaces or surfaces not intended to be stripped, if stripper gets on other surface, clean immediately with a wet cloth to prevent potential damage to the surface.
  4. Application times will vary depending on the coating being removed and the surface they are applied to and the following times are just estimates. Test a small area within the time frame listed and if not fully removing wait longer before removing:
    a. Sealer, Wax or Varnish: 15-30 minutes
    b. Polyurethane and Acrylic: 1-2 hours
    c. Epoxy Grout Haze: 1-2 hours
  5. Do not let the product dry on surface. After the product sits, rub with a nylon brush or scrub pad. Test the pad prior to use with the product to be sure it does not scratch the surface. Surface should be wet when cleaning off coatings. Water can be applied to make this easier.
  6. Rinse well with clean water and dry pads or cloths.
  7. If more than one application is necessary because all the sealer was not removed, then repeat steps 1-6.
  8. If applying another sealer, please do an additional wash with a neutral pH cleaner and rinse well.
  9. Surface traffic can begin about 2 hours after surface is dry.

For use on these surfaces:

Use on natural stone surfaces such as slate and tumbled marble as well as tiles like saltillo. It is best not to use on polished marble and granite as some dulling of the polish may occur. Do not use on any surface that is not a stone or masonry product.

  • Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120°F.
  • Open container carefully.
  • Open windows and doors if using inside.
  • Clean up spills, rags, papers and waste promptly.

First Aid

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give large quantities of water. Call physician, hospital, or Poison Control Center immediately. In case of eye contact, immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. In case of skin contact, rinse thoroughly. If symptoms persist, contact physician, hospital, or Poison Control Center immediately.
