Tile Guard® One Step Wall & Counter Grout Sealer eliminates the need to
spend hours cleaning off residue from applying a grout sealer to your tile. One
Step’s formula makes excess sealer evaporate, there is no hard-to-remove residue on the tiles. Spray along the grout lines and don’t worry about getting it on
the tiles.
This sealer penetrates and provides a long-lasting barrier to resist stains from spills, water, and oil on your grout. This protection lasts up to 15 years, depending on the surface type and use.
- Allow newly applied grout to cure overnight before applying sealer.
- Clean existing grout thoroughly with Tile Guard® Extra Strength Tile &
Grout Cleaner or apply Tile Guard® Grout Coating to recolor discolored or
stained grout before sealing.
- Test in an inconspicuous place for compatibility and satisfactory seal by
seeing if water beads on the surface.
- SHAKE CAN WELL BEFORE USING.
- Invert can and point nozzle away from you; aim it at the grout line from a
height of 10–15 inches.
- Press the nozzle and spray along the grout line, avoiding excess sealer that
may result in pooling or residue.
- If pooling occurs, it is best to remove with a cloth while wet. (A cloth
dampened with warm water will easily wipe up residue when it is dried.)
- A second coat should be applied one hour or more after the first coat.
- The surface may have things placed on it when dry to the touch and a full
cure is achieved in 24 hours.
- Depending on use and wear, sealer may need to be reapplied after 1–3
years.
Coverage
- Approx. coverage for 2 coats: 12x12 tiles–250 sq. ft.
- Approx. coverage for 2 coats: 4x4 tiles–95 sq. ft.
- Linear coverage is 500 feet with two coats.
Expected Wear
- Up to 15 years depending upon various factors: surface porosity, surface
wear, harsh cleaning methods such as high-alkaline or solvent-based cleaners,
and frequency and type of maintenance products.
- Test for water absorption periodically and reseal when water starts to
absorb.
- For best protection, reseal annually to be certain your protection is at its
best.
For use on these surfaces:
- Grout between ceramic tile
- Grout between sealed natural stone
- Formula evaporates eliminating need for clean-up
- Protects grout from water, oil-based and solvent-based stains
- Provides 15 year protection
