If you have ceramic tile throughout your home, you’ve a lot of grout that needs to be sealed. We have a variety of Tile Guard® grout sealers so you can pick the right grout sealer for each room in your home.

This grout sealer is composed of silicon and seals your tile’s grout for better water resistance. Whether you’re considering your garden’s tiled birdbath or your shower, both need their grout protected from extreme moisture. This sealer provides excellent water protection and works against dirt penetration.

Mold and mildew stains are not attractive in your bathroom or your birdbath. This easy-to-use silicon sealer will protect your grout from moisture damage inside and out.

Pre-sealing Directions

New Grout

1. Allow new grout to dry two weeks before application.

Old Grout

1. Clean tile and grout with Tile Guard® Extra Strength Tile and Grout Cleaner.
2. Allow to dry.
3. Before sealing old grout, re-whiten discolored tile grout lines with Tile Guard® Tile Grout Coating.
4. Allow to dry.

Directions for Use

1. Always test an area before use.
2. Work in small areas of approximately 25 sq. ft. at a time.
3. Invert bottle, press applicator directly to grout line. Apply pressure to begin flow.
4. Wipe up excess immediately with dry cloth or paper towel. Continue working in small areas until complete. DO NOT ALLOW PRODUCT TO DRY ON TILE. Wipe up spills on trim and other fixtures immediately.
5. Polish with a soft cloth or paper towel.
6. Product is safe to walk on in 2 hours, and is cured in 48 hours. Avoid using cleaners for 48 hours.

Expected Wear

• Up to 5 years depending upon various factors: surface porosity, surface wear, harsh cleaning methods such as high-alkaline or solvent-based cleaners, and frequency and type of maintenance products.
• Test for water absorption periodically and reseal when water starts to absorb.
• For best protection, reseal annually to be certain your protection is at its best.

For use on these surfaces:

• Grout between glazed ceramic tile
• Not intended for grout between unglazed tile, slate, marble or other natural stones

• Seals against moisture
• Protects against mold and mildew stains
• Can be easily re-whitened to keep look fresh and new
• Provides 5 year protection

• CAUTION: Contains Siloxanes. May cause eye and skin irritation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not take internally.
• IF SWALLOWED: Drink 2-3 large glasses of water and get medical aid immediately.
• EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
• SKIN CONTACT: rinse thoroughly with water.
